The sinkhole is in a wooded area and contains trees, limbs, organic debris, horse & cow skeletons. The sink is surrounded by scrub oaks, palmettos.

Water flows west beneath the river to Lafayette County and into the Lafayette Blue Cave System. The pool is about 35 feet in diameter with very steep slopes.

1/30/2011 atedeschi NA Went to see what this was all about and since Kitty Sink had good vis, I wanted to check this site out. The GPS numbers on here are correct. You can park on the side of the road and follow the powerlines down the clearing. The sink is on the right between the second & third pole. It has steep sides, which would make hauling gear difficult. The surface vis was crystal clear for about the first 5-6' and then there was a white milky layer. Between all the No Trespassing signs and milky vis we decieded not to dive the site.
