Cueva del Agua is a very labyrinthic beautiful cave. The very warm almost still water has resulted in very silty and muddy sections; in fact some of the passages were cleared with shovels by the early explorers. The line is less than ideal, and most of the Ts are marked with a series (sometimes as many as 5) of odd looking stickers glued (or tied) to the mainline, with an arrow drawn on them – not much help in limited visibility!
The basin area is popular amongst the locals and so the main line does not start until some 20m inside the cave and already from there, there are 3 possible directions all running from the starting point.
Easy access. No entrance fee.
