Overview Location & Specifics Conditions Resources Nearby Systems
The Glory Hole is a submerged "siphon" sink with a small opening that continually sucks in water and whatever happens to be in it. A strong downline is a must if one plans to return to the surface. Divers report the flow is so strong that their exhaust bubbles are sucked back into the hole while exiting. The entrance is like a solution tube that opens up into a large pit room over 200 ft deep. The walls are covered with colorful sponges and other marine growth, the mound is littered with remanants of creatures that could not escape. One side of the mound continues down into a restricted passage that drains the room.
