| 4/18/2006 | Jay Titen | clear | I went to A.L Anderson Park to check out the sink this morning. The sinkhole is in the south end of the park by site number 7. The sinkhole is surrounded by a brand new 4ft tall chainlink fence. I'm guessing this is to keep people away from it and diving is probably not permitted. Half the sink was covered with mung similar to that found at Eagles Nest, but in the middle you could see clear water, and a slight movement in the water from flow, appeared to be swirling. |
